Virtual Properties Realty was founded in 1999 by a mother/son broker team, Karen Burks and Steve Wagner. After nearly 10 years with RE/Max, they realized the franchise was too large to stay agile with technology. They envisioned a more responsive and innovative real estate agency.
Today, Steve and Karen lead with cutting-edge tools, training, and support. VPR owns Georgia Realty School and has been debt-free since its inception.
Now Georgia’s largest privately owned real estate firm, VPR has over 5,000 agents and closed nearly 12,500 properties totaling $3.993 billion in 2021. VPR operates under three licensed GREC firms:
